The Mindfulness App - Available for IOS or Android

This is a great tool for advanced meditation, but it’s especially helpful for beginners. Jump into a mindfulness session any time you have a moment free to yourself. You can set your reminders for the times of day that you need to take a quick break and relax.

Headspace - Available for IOS or Android

Headspace makes it easy for people just learning the art of meditation. You can also purchase programs to help you meet specific goals, like improving concentration, increasing focus, or improving your relationships. Features a beautifully designed interface and includes:

  • Meditation reminders that you can set to keep you on track with your practice

  • Random intermittent 'mindfulness buzzers' throughout the day to check in with yourself

Wherever You Go, There You Are - John Kabat-Zinn

A simple and straightforward introduction to Buddhist meditation practice from one of the country's leading authorities on stress-reduction techniques. The program has as its goal a personal transformation of the listener.

This app gives you the option to check-in with how you are doing, mentally and physically, and then lists a list of meditations tailored specifically to you.  They are meant to support and help you to deal with whatever is going on in your daily life.
