The Kingston Mindfulness Centre offers drop-In sessions that are open to everyone. These sessions are for anyone who would like to practice meditation in a safe and comfortable group setting. The teaching is secular, and participants of any spiritual or religious background are welcome. The goal of this program is to develop community with other mediators.
WHAT TO EXPECT?
In each drop-in session, we will explore what mindfulness is and the effects of mindfulness on various aspects of quality of life and stress management. There will also be time to ask questions and to explore how mindfulness can be developed in the context of our busy lives. Instructions will be given for participants who have limited experience with meditation.
WHEN & WHERE?
Sessions to be held once or twice daily. Please check the event calendar page of this website to see what dates are currently scheduled.
All sessions will take place at the KOPI Wellness Centre located at 800 John Marks Ave, off of Hwy. 15, on the east end of the city. Be sure to wear comfortable clothes!
